Nia Christian is an innovation engineer at Digital Fastforward with a B.A. in computer science from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She develops robotic automation programs for public and private industry entities. With her computer science expertise, she has developed a wide range of courses related to programming. This course work fosters computational thinking, code development, and project development, which are fundamental skills needed for programming.

Rebecca Christian is an ELA interventionist, “Literacy Change Agent,” an educator, reading specialist, computer science enthusiast, and literacy program developer. In the summer of 2021, Ms. Christian served as a DCPS Curriculum Institute (CI) Fellow, 2021 and DCPS Empowered Learner Institute (Eli) Fellow, 2021. For over twenty-five years, Ms. Christian has served in both instructional and administrative roles during her tenure in education. She uses her knowledge of integrating student data, pedagogical practices, and curriculum development to close achievement gaps. She has a track record of success in helping schools and students achieve academic excellence. Her work is featured in the National Science Foundation’s documentary “Wired for Success.” Rebecca Christian attended Hofstra University, B.A., and Trinity Washington University, M.Ed., M.A.T., M.A.T.
